How To Apply

To apply for Food Stamps (also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) in Washington County, Oregon, you can start the process online, by mail, or in person. If you prefer to apply by mail, you can download the application from the ODHS website, complete it, and mail it to your local ODHS office. For in-person applications, visit the Washington County ODHS office, where staff can assist you with the process. Once your application is submitted, you may need to participate in an interview, which can be done over the phone or in person. Be sure to gather necessary documents, such as proof of identity, income, and residency, to streamline the process.
